Took my mother in law there for a birthday lunch..The food was awesome, and the waitress was so nice..Will be going back there again..

I love Ritter's. It's a Pittsburgh institution. But I couldn't do five stars because that would be misleading. Is their food amazing? No. Are the servers spectacular? Not really. But it's the vibe. It's a diner and they serve diner food. Not too expensive, nothing fancy, and sometimes that's all you need.

Need an upgrade in the menu offerings and chef
